In 1991, the CAPE 231 EX is launched. It is a CAP231 with a 100% carbon wing coming from an EXTRA 260 (so, it was called “EX”). This adaptation replaced the french carbon wing which was not ready yet. The work of carbon was a new thing for an airframe manufacturer which, until this day, had only used wood structures.
This astonishing partnership between two rival firms has created a thoroughbred. The CAP 231 EX will give birth in 1994 to the CAP 232 which will preserve mixed construction with a wood fuselage associated to a carbon aerofoil developed this time directly by Mudry itself.
The CAP 232 will be celebrated 12 times as world champion.

This project launched on X-Plane.org in April 2006 has been started with the Plane-Maker model created by Paul B Jones. Quickly this model was decorated by a modeling 3D carried out by Psiteo and an improvement of the model of flight carried out by Paul. It was in November 2006 and it was just missing the texturing to make it complete.

Beber carried out this last part of the project in April 2008 for finally deliver this CAP232 which will charm the amateurs of extreme aerobatic-flying.
