The Méribel Robert Merloz altiport is an approved restricted-use altiport, located in the town of Allues, 1.5 km north-north-east of the Méribel resort in Savoie (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, France).

It is used for the practice of leisure and tourism activities (light aviation and helicopter).

It is an altiport, that is to say an aerodrome located in the mountains having the particularity of having a sloping runway, forcing the planes to land in the direction of the climb and to take off in the direction of the descent. It is therefore impossible to perform a "go-around". In real life, this is dangerous terrain requiring either a mountain qualification (wheels and / or skis), or a valid authorization for the altiport site.

Enjoy your flights to Méribel and the 3 Valleys!
